Bishwajit Goswami

This stunning oil painting is a testament to Goswami’s immense painterly talent. A figure curls up under a sheet that seems to be made out of air. Only her luxurious locks are visible, musically painted by Goswami and complementing the innumerable soft pleats and wrinkles of the white sheet. The play of light and shadow on the drapery is marvellously executed. It is a tender image of vulnerability and frailty.
