Sajjad Ahmed

Ringing out loud with the liveliness of op (optical) art, this fun, trippy digital work by Ahmed positions small human figures against a backdrop of black and white stripes zipping back and forth. From afar, the figures look like marks in different colours or letters singled out from a script, evenly spaced. It is only at a closer and longer look that they take on the familiar forms of people.
