Warda Ali
- Description
In this intriguing painting, Ali depicts a communal prayer, making creative decisions about design and colour. The congregated are shown in an array of soft colours, interspersed with small areas of shadows, resulting in a well-balanced yet dramatic image. The rows of the praying men unfold one after the other in even diagonals, lending a sense of movement to the painting, too.
